As I head aboard a plane on my way back from Bali, I'm thrilled to announce to that I'm collaborating with Samsonite Australia/New Zealand, as their style ambassador.

In May, I'll be heading off on a round-the-world adventure taking in the sights, sounds and fashion of some of my favourite countries, as well as some new ones. I'm lucky enough to have travelled extensively, and I have to say quality luggage is an absolute must.

In addition to being perfectly stylish, my new Samsonite FireLite, pictured here is incredible lightweight. The benefit of this? More luggage allowance for all my shopping finds!

I've decided to continue to embrace all things monochrome. As I've mentioned before, I'm never one to steer clear of colour, but sometimes, change is as good as a holiday right?

Speaking of which, I'm in the midst of planning out another global adventure. The thing with travel is that once you start, it becomes incredibly difficult to stop. I find myself compelled to explore new uncharted territory, whilst at the same time being drawn to my sentimental favourites.

As Bill Bryson puts it perfectly - to my mind, the greatest reward and luxury of travel is to be able to experience everyday things as if for the first time, to be in a position in which almost nothing is so familiar it is taken for granted.

For now it's back to the planning station.

SPORT CHIC

I'm definitely a high heels kind of gal, so you could consider me a late-comer to the fashion sneaker party, Isabel Marant kicked off.

As soon as I set my eyes on this incredible Shona Joy dress, It called me to experiment with my twist on the gorgeous sports luxe editorials I've seen in every magazine and on every blog of late.

These high top wedge sneakers add the perfect touch of street cred to complete my sporty look, whilst fulfilling my need for a shoe with some height.

My first pair of fashion sneakers, but certainly not my last.

I've been converted.
