ASOS IN YOUR WORLD

Last week, I had the pleasure of attending the launch of the new Spring/Summer collection from ASOS - 'In Your World'. An exclusive collection of summer goodies, created specifically for ASOS's Aussie customers and available only for a limited time in Australia (online from the 8th October).

Following a luxe breakfast and introduction of key pieces from the new collection - think floral prints, textures and gorgeous bold colours, fellow blogger Chanelle and I set our eyes on the venue decorations and headed outside to snap my latest ASOS acquisition, this 'revive' silk white dress.

My obsession for white dresses in the sunshine continues.

One of the best things about blogging for me is the great company I've been fortunate enough to meet. People sharing the same interests and passion as me, which transcends distance and time-zones.

Blogger babe and beauty behind this incredible floral brocade skirt, The Disco Pony Girl and I first connected through blogging, and now continue our trans-continental friendship. This girl masters beautiful prints & fabrics, so do keep your eyes peeled - amazing things await.

THE MIDI DRESS

Not a maxi, or a mini, but the midi dress is the most flattering of styles, with this black and white number proving itself not only as the perfect all-occasion dress, but also as the perfect travel companion.

With suit-cases still unpacked, all things travel have me more than pre-occupied of late.

After returning from the US, Mexico, Canada, Singapore and closer to home in Sydney, I'm glad to be spending some time at home, for now, however the allure of revisiting familiar places and unchartered territory is strong.

As the proverb goes - 'for my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move', and now, more than ever I'm excited of the adventures that lay ahead.

Move over little black dress, for me, as always it is about the perfect white dress, especially for spring and summer.

Unlike most from Melbourne, colour generally occupies the largest part of my wardrobe, but there is something simple and understated about a perfectly fitted crisp white dress, and this Bec & Bridge number certainly fits the bill.

FRIEND IN FASHION FOR GEORG JENSEN, VFNO

Those following Friend in Fashion on instagram (@friendinfashion) or twitter, would already know that a short while back, I had the privilage of participating in Vogue's Fashion Night Out, as one of the blogger-stylists for luxury brand, Georg Jensen.

A glamourous evening, complete with styling lounge, champagne, canapes and a DJ, I, along with fellow blogger, 'sneakypeak', styled customers in the newest Georg Jensen collection.

Thanks to the Georg Jensen team for a brilliant evening, and all those that came along and enjoyed the festivities - a fitting soirée.

Also thanks to the man behind my mane, Jaye Edwards for styling my hair for the evening.

So not a lot of words describe just how much love I have for this floral wrap dress, via Melbourne designer, Emmajane.

Perfect spring colours, the most flattering cut, plus pretty ruffle detailing - dress perfection.

I've just landed in a very humid Singapore, and am really looking forward to shopping up a storm along Orchard Road, and convincing myself that seven meals a day is completely acceptable.

Food in Singapore is just that good people!
